Month and a half!

So... the countdown begins.
I'm getting more and more excited. The day that school starts is growing closer and closer. I've finally gotten the exact day that school starts.... Sept 8th, 2010.
So, I've been getting myself all pumped up, but haven't had a chance to do much about it yet.
So far I've only managed to get my stethoscope. I wasn't able to get my CPR course done, I still haven't gotten my immunization report done, I have a criminal record check that still needs to be ordered and I haven't purchased any of my school supplies yet.
BUT... I'm getting there. I did finally get an idea of what I needed to get from my school, what kind of scrubs I needs, shoes, watch, stethoscope, bandaged scissors, etc. Plus, I got my student loan estimate back, so I now know how much I'll be getting during the 1rst and 2nd half of my first year. It's going to be more then enough between tuition, books and supplies so that's a huge relief. The only thing is that I can cash it until the last few weeks of August... so I still have a bit of a wait until I can buy my supplies.

In other news, my husband is now a graduated animator, and looking for jobs... He's doing a great job and I'm super proud of him! I was smiles all around on his graduation day. (I can't wait until it's me walking across the stage!)

But yeah, so that's my post for today. I hope to continue this as the weeks go on... I'll have pictures and maybe videos as I gather my supplies and get all prepped for nursing school awesomeness!
